Throughout my youth I maintained an affinity for “fixing things”. I’ve seemingly always found joy in seeking out where solutions and opportunity collide. At the age of 10, I formed my first entrepreneurial endeavor from that theory alone. As a regular at my local skatepark I took notice that everyone wanted their wheel bearings cleaned and maintained, so I started charging them for my services.

My interest in enterprise persisted through high school and into college where I founded Jelly Skateboards, a clear bulletproof longboard. From its grassroots assembling and fulfilling orders out of my apartment, I fostered every step of its growth to eventually selling in over 750+ skate and surf shops internationally amongst the likes of big box retailers Zumiez and Toys R’ Us, reaching seven figures in revenue. While managing the retail vertical of the business was important, my primary focus was always surrounding the digital, ecommerce segments wherein I’d developed a sizable presence on both Shopify and Amazon. With five years of proven growth strategies, my accomplishments in the ecommerce and digital space garnered attention in the marketing zeitgeist. From 2012-2017, my work was highlighted by GoDaddy, eMarketer, Instagram for Business, & Meta. In 2016, I received a nomination from Meta to join the inception of their Facebook SMB Council where I was recognized for my outstanding work in content creation, and Facebook Campaign strategy. 

Having had success with Jelly, I was approached by other D2C brands ranging from well funded start-ups to more established names for my thoughts on how to approach the varying challenges of running a business online. It was during those conversations I found myself genuinely enthralled with how the impact of my experience and expertise could so seamlessly lend itself to other brands. The “fixer” in me had found its place. I’ve so enjoyed the process of jumping into a business with an owner’s mentality. I’ve worn the hats, and felt the hesitations, reservations, and eagerness an owner faces be it with daily decision making, or navigating teams through obstacles.

In 2019, I connected with the CEO and Co-Founder of Koia, the fastest selling RTD plant-based protein drink on the market. The company was just getting started to scale and well suited for my scope of specialties, so I joined to pilot all digital activations. At Koia, I provided cross-functional team leadership between the digital and sales departments, and built the entirety of the brands digital presence. Through my originating and amplifying the eCommerce division, and scaling grocery delivery, Koia was able to generate $7.5mm in digital sales. Knowing the importance of retail and community, I created a loyalty program that developed 20,000 customers into brand champions. As retail acts as the lifeblood of Koia, it was paramount to leverage shopper marketing and paid digital in any capacity available to support in-store sales prosperity, so a segmented dynamic approach to the marketing was an integral part of the impact of my contribution. 

My overarching experience with brands like Koia, La Matera, William Painter, Hyperbits, Dynamikos, and more have offered me the unique opportunity to exercise adaptability, garner expertise, and produce reliable results. Much like my younger self, I am committed to solutions, and am here to help.
